Hiya!

I'm Jeanne. I'm a food lover and professional working in London. I've been here since 2016, drawn in by a MA in Food Anthropology at SOAS, University of London. My professional career has taken me in various directions, all within the food and hospitality sectors. I have experience in ingredient sales and business development, in kitchens and bakeries, in content and copy writing, in operations and data entry for a food start-up, and in culinary teaching.

I'm currently employed with Countertalk, a hospitality services & resource platform seeking to better the industry. My work involves copy and content writing, marketing and comms, business development and community outreach.

I also teach fermentation and baking courses with The Fermentarium, a North London-based fermentation collective, as well as private online courses.
